When we asked for the best Banh Mi in Hanoi, this was the answer and at less than SGD5.00, this is insanely amazing. Whilst you can see its packed with tourist from all over, the price still remained at almost local prices and the Heineken at SGD1.00 a glass. What the, $1.00 a glass? You heard me right man. The Banh Mi itself was crunchy on the outside with a toasted, warm interior. But the amazing part are the meats, which by itself was so juicy; like where are all these juices coming from bro? Then you add in their sauce which I can't decipher what goes into it, it just blows your mind. Its a very light and satisfying meal for lunch, and I can imagine it makes for a very good post (or during) drinking snack as well. I know its unorthodox, but I must mention the drinks as well. There is actually a secret bar connected inside, aptly named Bilancia Hidden Bar and on the menu you'll notice all kinds of cocktails, shots and beer etc. Ordered the gin and tonic and it was so refreshing. Told the bartender to use the remainder of the tonic to make another whisky and tonic, another wonderful drink. End up no choice, had to shift inside and grab another 3rd drink for good measure and that place is VIBE. Drinks are legit, cheap and the place is such a mood; you can't ask for more man. A surprising and unexpected combination; 5/5 would come back and straight head into the bar after ordering the banh mi for sure! Ngon!

Banh Mi 25 is one of the most popular spots in Hanoi for a reason—it’s always buzzing with people eager to get their hands on a freshly made banh mi. The queue might look long, but it moves fast and is absolutely worth the short wait. The rolls are warm, soft on the inside with a slight crunch, and so many filling options are impressively diverse, from traditional pork to vegan-friendly choices. We choose ours with a refreshing smoothie which was a great for a hot day. The atmosphere is casual, with lots of seating on the footpath and friendly staff. Recommend if you’re in Hanoi worth the visit to try.

That was really good and worth the hype We walked by yesterday and saw the crowds, and decided to try it for dinner tonight and we are so glad we did. Most of us got the pork belly and it was incredible! We also got a chicken one that was also really good. We loved it so much that we tried to order another one but they had already closed the kitchen. If we weren’t leaving in the morning, we’d come back!

Banh Mi 25 is an absolute gem of a place, delivering an experience of truly exceptional taste. The foundation of their greatness lies in the bread itself—a revelation. Each baguette boasts an incredibly thin, golden-brown crust that shatters audibly, revealing a remarkably soft, airy, and tender interior. It's consistently fresh, providing the essential textural counterpoint to the rich fillings. The crispy pork belly banh mi is a masterpiece of texture; shatteringly crisp skin gives way to succulent, tender meat. For deep, savory richness, the beef pate offers a wonderfully smooth and robust counterpoint. And the BBQ pulled pork? Sweet, smoky, and incredibly tender, it's a burst of balanced flavor. Every element, from the vibrant herbs to the expertly prepared meats, speaks volumes about a passion for authentic, high-quality banh mi. This spot is simply unmissable.

This place is hyped for a reason. I came back 3 times during my stay in Hanoi. First, for breakfast, then for dinner on the same day, and again for breakfast the day after! I tried 3 different styles of their banh mi, the chicken and avocado, the chicken and cheese, and the pork belly. Chicken and avocado was very fresh, tasted amazing even though it’s not a ‘traditional style’. I worried I wouldn’t like the pork belly as I’m not generally a fan of fatty meat, however it was excellent, so many flavours and textures and it was all delicious. Chicken and cheese wasn’t my favourite pick but that’s a personal preference. I also had a salted cream cacao and it was truly excellent. Service was great, they are very attentive, all you have to do is look at the friendly server and she will be with you as soon as she can. I managed to get a seat easily both mornings in one of their cafe buildings, and the takeaway line moved quickly at dinner time. All in all, worth the hype, come to Banh Mi 25.
