Best Bun Bo Hue. Tried other tourist oriented places in town but this has the best. There are three ladies total, two of them take your order. Each bowl was 40k. Be patient and enjoy. Both days we went at 8am and plenty of noodles left.

Super busy spot for bun bo hue. They’re only open for a short window before they fully sell out. There isn’t a proper queue, so you’ll have to be quick and make your order. Seating is limited, however, you can sit at the cafe next door after you buy a drink. For 40k dong, the bowl of bun bo is one of the best I’ve had in Hue. The broth is full of flavour and the crab balls and beef were cooked perfectly. If you’re wanting bun bo that’s loved by locals, then I highly recommend this spot

Must atrive before 08h30 as the noodle will be sold out very fast in the morning. Very traditional bun ba hue with original taste. According to many the best in the town. It is true that this place has a richer soup with a saltier touch and a hint of lemongrass. The beef is cooled to perfection. I highly advice to try the mixed one. The ordering is pretty crazy as is the case many times with vietnamese restaurants. Just squat next to the lady and say what you want 😀

The Bún bò Huế has a broth that is unique and different to other noodles that I’ve eaten in Huế. It’s recommended to try this place once while you’re in Huế. The service is meh. You don’t know which line you’re in to put in your order. You get pushed around. There’s a struggle to find a table. The place is really busy if you don’t get in early. The noodles do run out within 1-2 hours.

A very cheap bowl of Bun Bo Hue (Dac Biet 60k), you need to order, pick your toppings, veggies and chilli if not on the table already, so the service is nonexistent outside the old lady giving you a bowl. Not clean at all, nobody cares too much. The Bun Bo Hue was good but it all tasted the same, I mean the toppings had all the same flavor, not very good.
