Despite the rainy season, this place was pretty crowded. The 12-cup "Chè" combo for 80k is not cheap, but it offers authentic Hue flavors that are delicious without being overly sweet. The pork-stuffed tapioca balls are sold separately and are very popular

It was definitely the most crazy chè you can find in Vietnam—Roasted Pork Chè. My local friend believes they were the first to invent it before many other places started offering it. It might sound like a crazy combination of roasted pork, chewy tapioca starch, and cold sweet broth, but it actually works. I personally enjoy it and recommend it to anyone who’s a bit adventurous. They also make all the traditional chè. I love their banana chè—it's my go-to!

The restaurant is small but very crowded with tourists and locals. We ordered the combo with all the desserts divided into small bowls. The flavor of the tea is light and rich, and the special broth has a wonderful sweet taste. We chose this place to end our first day in Hue after enjoying previous specialties!

if ur on the market for some good Vietnamese style dessers "Chè" - and notably Hue style vietnamese desserts, then you are in the right place! everything was sooooo good! the combo chè gives you a nice bit of everything (minus the specials) - well balanced. not too sweet but if you are here in Hue then you HAVE to try one of their specialties.. the Chè Bột Lọc Thịt Quay its still a dessert but with a hint of savoury as there is bbq pork inside the tapioca balls! sounds odd but oh so satisfying!

Ordered the dessert combo set and all samplings were sweet. Too sweet to my liking but it was a good try.
