  WOW! Just WOW! This is one of the most delicious meals I have eaten anywhere in my life. Most hatted and Michelin restaurants should have their chefs/cooks stage at this restaurant, lots they could learn from these fantastic restauranteurs.

  THANK YOU to the aunties of Cơm hến Hoa Đông for one of the best, happy-tear inducing meals that our group of 7 had in Huế. Every bowl of clams was a revelation in flavor that we savored til the last drop! Each bite was a constellation of delightful textures that we will love for ever. Hard to decide whether the rice or the noodle was the favorite. A cherished memory.

  Ordered hến xào here cause I wanted more mini lala instead of just a few spoons. Unlike the other rice or noodles that you can see the aunties scooping right in front of you, the hến xào is taken from the back kitchen. I believe it is already precooked cause of how fast it came out. It comes with a sesame cracker. So you just crack the crackers and eat it with the mini mussels. Food is ok, not bad. Environment can be quite hot

  I went there based on a local resident’s recommendation. The taste was just average. When I visited, the restaurant was very dirty. I’m not sure if this is common in restaurants across Vietnam, but it definitely wasn’t clean. I ordered com hen and a beer, but they forgot to bring the beer. They realized it at the end and tried to serve it, but I canceled the order.

  One of the best meals we've had in Vietnam, without a doubt. Lovely service that taught us how to eat the meal properly. If you ever come to Hue, you cannot miss this!
