I recommend coming to treat yourself! Foodie Paradise! A visually exquisite and refined display of heavenly treats. Shop after shop of delectable treats. Beautiful spot with tons of options - they had something special for everyone! A luxurious and stunning display of decadent foods. I recommend coming to treat yourself! It was pricey, but I would still recommend it just for the visual.

There were tons of options for food and desserts. The desserts were so beautifully done. It seemed like pricing was pretty high in this area compared to similar items we were able to find in less touristy areas.

Located in a separate building across from Galeries Lafayette Homme, Gourmet has some of the nicest bakery and pastry options in the city, along with restaurant, home, and technology floors upstairs. The ground floor gets extremely crowded on weekends, especially after midday, so I’d recommend going early if you want to grab a pastry or sandwich with a coffee. Seating is limited and almost impossible to find later in the day on weekends. Toilets are on the very top floor, in case you’re wondering. Not the most practical for customers, but it does help keep random passers-by out.

MY GOD the people serving at the bakery and cashier are so slow to the point it’s insulting. I lost 30 minutes to buy a single bread. Who is the manager of this place that clearly is not very knowledgeable because it’s not rocket science to plan accordingly an adequate and competent team to satisfy demand. Really shameful, stingy experience coming from a place that is supposed to have a bit of knowledge of quality. And on top of that, this carrot cake was so old it tasted fermented. Like the quality control of food is not up to the level it should be. I had to throw it away, just like my time on this place.

This is a fantastic gourmet market. The meats, cheese, chocolates, ice-creams and pastries are out of this world delicious. Great service. Go out of your way to come here.
