Very clean, comfortable, and spacious if compared to other hotels in Tokyo. The facilities are great: laundry room, water and ice machines in the hallway, and a polite, helpful staff. The location is amazing! You're right in the liveliest part of the city, but without the noise. One big highlight: the hotel allows you to store your luggage if you're traveling to other cities in Japan and returning to Tokyo later — which was super helpful for us. We didn’t have to carry big suitcases everywhere. Out of all the places we stayed in Japan, this was by far the best. Highly recommend!

The hotel is amazing however the surrounding area late at night is not so good. Very crowded and its the red light district some shady people around. However, tons of things to do, places to eat, shopping etc. the hotel is also next to a police station and there is security around. Japan hotels room run a little small which is to be expected but for what you get and the price top notch

Overall a decent stay — rooms are in line with what you’d expect in Tokyo at this price point (quite cosy!), located close to transport/connections/food. It’s a big hotel so it’s always pretty busy — and the area gets quite hectic on Friday / Saturday night. Always easy to find your bearings back to the hotel — just look for Godzilla!

Loved - that the staff were always available, lovely and always helpful. Room were quiet and it was a very busy hotel with bustling nightlife below. Hotel is well located to everything we wanted. Struggles - Tiny rooms and tiny beds (by Western standards). We had to take turns laying our bags on the bed to open them, then move the bag to access the fridge, and move it again to get into bed.

If you're looking for a hotel that screams "Only in Tokyo," Hotel Gracery Shinjuku delivers with its unmistakable Godzilla theme, prime location in the heart of Kabukichō, and an unforgettable urban vibe. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s part of the Tokyo experience. The star attraction is the massive Godzilla head perched on the terrace—visible from select rooms and the hotel’s café. If you're a fan, book a Godzilla Room where the decor fully leans into the kaiju theme, from movie posters to Godzilla roaring from the walls. Even if you’re not a diehard fan, the theme adds a fun and quirky personality to the hotel that sets it apart from the more sterile business hotels in the area.
