A fairly busy station with two waiting rooms which I think are dedicated to different services (so everyone for train X goes in one and everyone for train Y goes in the other). They were playing Mr Bean on the TV when we were there - no language barrier there. You can buy food and drink before boarding the train.

Huế Railway Station is very small, overcrowded, and cramped. As soon as you get off the train, you’re hit by a strong smell of toilet everywhere. The path to the parking area is narrow and chaotic, with many people aggressively trying to get you to use their transport. Overall, a stressful arrival experience.

The train station still retains its beautiful French colonial architecture. The staff are friendly and provide good service. The waiting room for trains to Da Nang is not too large but has a phone charging area. The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable. We didn’t try the food so could not review.

It’s a railway station. Trains arrive and leave from it. There are air-con waiting rooms, and the train announcements are very informative in both Vietnamese and English.
