Beautiful location. Amazing Pizza. The staff were kind, efficient, and helpful. Gorgeous view of Avignon castle. Definitely recommend!

I unexpectedly as a solo on my first day in Avignon found Le Bercail. I took the free ferry over after my early morning train ride, mostly needing toilette and hungry but found the most enchanting place people and food! My server Cassandra couldn't have been more kind helpful accommodating and fun. There was no rush made for me even though they were hustling with reservations as well. Made me so happy. Found like I found a family restaurant. Sitting outside as the sun came out for perfect 70 degree weather! Rested and ready for next 12 hours of my day!

This restaurant has a very nice view and has terrace or inside seating. In general the food was good, but the waiters seemed to just want to get done with their day. There is also a Pizza area in the terrace. It was OK

On the banks on the Rhône across from Avignon the views were superb. The recommend beef dish was awesome. The meat melted in your mouth. You could taste the wine that it was basted in.
