You really can’t go wrong here. It’s the classic, authentic bowl of beef and rice noodles. Don’t go for the stone pot one, it’s hot pot style and just a tourist trap. Go for their classic bowl of beef brisket or lean flank if that’s your fancy. The flat rice noodles and spot on, the broth is light but flavoursome and the beef is well sourced. If I was to recommend a place to someone who wasn’t adventurous or after the proper local experience then I’d recommend here. If you’re looking for something a bit more local then hit the Pho Hoa Pasteur or my favourite: Pho Minh.

Pho Viet Nam in quan 1 truly lives up to its Michelin-starred reputation. The Pho Tho Ba C2 was a standout — served in a hot stone bowl, it kept the broth simmering, enhancing its rich, aromatic depth with every bite. The Pho Bap Hoa, featuring tender brisket and floral notes from fresh herbs, was equally exceptional. Both dishes showcased a perfect balance of flavor, texture, and tradition. The ambiance was elegant yet warm, and the service attentive without being intrusive. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking an elevated, soulful pho experience in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.

Excellent customer service as soon as we walked up. Tons of space at their other location 2 doors down. We got the large bowl of beef pho, without the stone bowl. Perhaps the same meal but without the fancy stone bowl? 😬 Loved the side plate with a variety of fresh herbs. We looked some previously unknown herbs, as some were yummy and others were really bitter! The pickled onions and garlic were delicious too, yum! The broth was sooooo good, the meat very tender and went down so nicely! Had the lemonade juice too. An amazing meal for a modest price. Thank you!

I was recommended this place, especially since it has a Michelin rating. I saw some great reviews and promotional videos, so I decided to try the Wagyu hot stone, mixed beef parts, and meatballs. I was impressed by the presentation, but honestly, the broth was quite mild and the pho had a standard texture. The beef didn’t live up to the hype, and the other parts were just average. The service staff weren't very friendly, and the atmosphere felt chaotic, crowded with tourists. The prices are higher than what you’d typically expect. I’m not sure I’d return.

I followed the recommendation of lift_run_eat the owner of the review before me and tried classic style with mixed beef option. I add all the sauces and the herbs and the soybean sprouts …. 😍And it was really really amazing. Just a note :”These fresh chillies are not joke” 🥵🤪
