  We loved everything about our lunch here. We didn't have a reservation but they catered for my family of 4 quite quickly. All the staff were just so friendly and helpful. They even asked if we wanted to move to a better table when it became available... Something away from the busy entrance. Food came out quick and tasted fresh and really good. Caramelized pork belly and grapefruit prawn salad were my favourites. Given they were awarded a Michelin star, I can see how some people may have expected a lot more and then rated them lower.

  Delicious food and bang for buck serving size. Teung, our waiter was superb, answered our questions well. He also took great photos! We mistakenly ordered a lot of food, thinking that the serving would just be small given the price. It's a good thing we can bring the extras to our hotel.

  The food was incredible, and genuinely the caramelised pork with egg is the best pork I had in my life. All the dishes came out so quickly after ordering, all piping hot. I’m not sure where the reviews about slow service are coming from! We were seated, had our orders taken and served within 15 minutes. We reserved a table for 2 at 19:30 on a Friday night. Very affordable for an experience in a Michelin restaurant. We paid £30 for two people for set 2 including two large beers. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the decor of the restaurant has a homely feel to it. I hope to be able to revisit again!

  The service was great. We had reservations and got seated right away. The seats were uncomfortable, at least where we sat. Almost like a picnic table seating. They have two buildings and quite a lot of seating so they can host quite a number of guests and different group sizes. For me the food was hit and miss. The green mango salad with shrimp was decent. The Vietnamese braised fish was the best dish we ordered. The Braised beef with ginger was good. Some of the meat was tough though. We also got the five spice crispy roasted chicken. The chicken was not crispy at all and there was no flavour outside of the sauce. The five spice sauce on the side was insanely salty and I was thankful it was on the side. Quite a large portion too and the meat was quite tough/boney ( we were warned but still wanted to try the dish ) I felt the food came out super fast. Too fast actually. Would've been interesting to try other dishes but can only fit so much food in. Overall the experience was positive but I am left wondering how they have a star to be honest.

  If I were to be more specific, I would give this restaurant a 3.5. Food was just alright and decent to be honest. I’m not sure if it’s because I set high expectations because of its Michelin star but yeah, it was just okay for me. I only ordered 1 dish as I was a solo traveller. Like said, it was alright but the servings are quite big so good value for money. I didn’t have a reservation so I waited for a couple of minutes (which I didn’t mind at all and really appreciated one of their staff as she was trying her best to give me a table right away). Service was good, they give complimentary watermelon after for dessert.
